Hello children

hello one and all i have obviously lost my mind as i have decided to start a new blog in welsh so if you can't read welsh, well you won't understand it but you can still check it out and look at the pretty pictures (work in progress) and if you do speak welsh then you probably will just laugh at my grammer etc, comments tips are welcome (except for "you're crap, just give up, that may not be appreciated".)
there has a lot happened in the last few days, more than i thought of so this may take longer than planned and i don't have longer than planned, oh well let's see

June 9th Parent's 25th wedding bash
My parents have been married 25 years, crazyness, and on the 9th we had a party (i like parties) there may soon be pics up on the web, i've just been busy alright. but yeah: food, music, tent, drink it was good fun.

June 13th Cymbeline
Shakespeare's most well known play, it was very well done by the cheek in jowl theatre company (named after the quote from midsummer nights dream) who transformed the massive theatre in the barbican centre into a studio space for this show, it was really well done.

June 14th - 19th Hannah's trip to london
Hannah came to london it was too long ago now for me to remember but i do remember going to thorpe park, giraffe, james' park the south bank centre (complete with water feature)

china town, trafalgar sq. science and natural history museums.

June 18th - 23rd - BLT Lighting.
from the 18th to the 23rd i volunteered to light the Bromley little theatre's show of once a catholic, which was very funny and kept me entertained in my little box, pictured left. My brother was in the play and said they needed a lighting man so i stepped forwards, and it was good fun. apparently i'm doing the sound for the next one, and training someone up. sounds like fun.

June 23rd - midsummer night's dream
One of shakespeare's lesser known plays the dream focusses on two young couples and a band of players and their mis-focussed loves due to some fairies. all in all a good show and being in the open air theatre i was a bit worried about the rain, but it held off so it was a dry show as well bonus.

June 20th - present - Triple E
I am once again back working at Triple E which is emmence fun assembling metals.

right i'm off to bed now, g'night.
Chris

Hello

Biggin Hill Air Fair.
Today, and yesterday, was the Biggin Hill air fair where the RAF show off their planes. It was quite amazing even though i was a few miles away from the action. I took a load of photos though like the one pictured here (follow the flickr link to see the rest).
The Tent Event.
All this week my parent's church did an event in coney hall rec under a giant tent it was quite amazing, even if i did only catch the last day. Tomorrow i said i'd help take the massive tent down so i need to leave the house at 6:30, that should be fun.
Going to Bed.
On that last point of getting up early I therefore need to go to bed, which i shall do. Night all.

Chester Zoo. (aka. A Giraffe, A Giraffe, A Giraffe)

Intro.

Hello Guy and Dolls, Princes and Princesses, Llamas and Ducks. (i think next time i'm reading to a welsh child who is learning animals i may listen to how they say Llama, could be interesting). welcome once again to this fine blog of mine.

Chester Zoo.

Today, which was Bank Holiday monday, I went, with the church to Chester Zoo, it was quite fun there are photos on my Flickr account for you to peruse, feel free to comment there or here, i'm quite easy going on such things. As photography seems to have become a hobby of mine i urge you to check out the other photos there if you haven't already and do the check out thing, i wonder, getting back to a zoo themed blog, what would happen if the zebras walked into the giftshop and concequently walked pasted the checkouts thus getting scanned, the best answers i have so far heard to this are:
  • The machine would display Zebra (simple, yet effective)
  • The machine would display Kill
  • The Machine would display Meat, Dinner
if you feel these are not sufficient to meet your zebra scanning requirements please feel free to comment your suggestions on what the checkout machines should be programmed to read when a zebra is scanned.
So today was fun i walked round a zoo with Hannah, I was taking photos and she was talking to animals, who in turn were ignoring her (I will add at this point that it is quite hard to concentrate on taking a photo when all you can hear, in you ear is a teenager saying to animals in a voice she must have borrowed from a passing seven year old: "Biscuit, biscuit do you want a biscuit, i don't think he wants a biscuit."). I would list all the animals we saw but that would take ages and your better going to their website and assuming we saw everything. but to name a few, for those who will not visit the website, we saw. Lions (sleeping), Giraffes, Penguins, Bear, Jaguars Rhinos, marmots, KOMODO DRAGONS and there also was a small shrine / statue / display dedicated to my favorite animal ever: The Dodo.
Right as today has become tomorrow i should bed as today, which used to be tomorrow, requires lots of revision as does wednesday for my exam thursday 9.30 in the morning.
so i shall bid you fare well

Rawr (this is what the lion would have said had he (or possibly she) been awake)
Night
Chris

ooh there was also a bat cave thing where you walked around and the bats could fly free, that was quite interesting.

Hello World (did you miss me?)

Right i figure facebook is not enough to keep the world up to date with the goings-on of my brain and in my life so i thought i'd start this up again, however i'll probably run out of inspiration again and get bored, anywho. I am now at the end of my first year Drama degree at the University of Wales, Aberystwyth (Prifysgol Cymru Aberystwyth) there is one exam left on the 31st, ie thursday. woo then summer, not that i've got much planned for the summer.

So i'll quickly fill you in on my itinerary for today, then i must go and do it; firstly i'm off to church where the wonderful steve coleman-williams is having his head shaved off for charity, hee hee don't worry richard, pictures will follow. After which wonderous events the church are having a picnic and as i can't be bothered, and don't have tasty enough ingredients to make sandwiches, i'm going to buy a subway, cheating? probably but hey.

right i'm off now, back soon
Chris
